Meet the Staff
Sam Vaught, Au.D.
Samuel F. Vaught, Au.D. is the owner of The Audiology Center of Snellville, and has been practicing audiology since 1982. Dr. Vaught is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is clinically-certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Furthermore, he is licensed by the state of Georgia, and is an active member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology. During 2008-2009 Dr. Vaught is serving as a Metro-Regional Representative on the GAA Board of Directors. He also is a member on the academy's 2009 Convention Committee.
Dr. Vaught received his Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree in 2004 from the School of Audiology, Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before entering private practice, Dr. Vaught worked in a variety of settings including: an ear, nose and throat physician’s office, a regional medical center, an audiology private practice, and for a hearing instrument manufacturer. His areas of special interests include diagnostics, electrophysiological testing, and hearing aid technology and fitting. Dr. Vaught enjoys running and exercising (when he can find time). He also is a huge sports enthusiast and is an avid UNC Tar Heel fan!

Michelle Russell-Chisolm
Michelle Russell-Chisolm is the office manager for The Audiology Center of Snellville. Michelle joined the staff in January of 2007. She has a diploma in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding from The Georgia Medical Institute which she earned in December of 2005.
Michelle’s responsibilities include appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, posting charges and receiving payments, insurance verification and billing, and the general daily operations of the practice. She is originally from Bronx, New York and moved to Georgia in 2004. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
