What to Expect at Your First Appointment
When you visit our hearing center, you will always be greeted by one of our friendly team members. Although each visit is tailored to your individual needs, you can expect your first appointment to be broken into a few steps.
Conversation: We will begin with a conversation to get to know you and understand what your hearing needs are.
Ear Exam: We will perform an ear exam using an otoscope to look inside your ears to ensure your ear canal and eardrum are healthy.
Hearing Test: You will sit in a soundproof booth with a pair of headphones on and listen for a series of sounds. If necessary, we may perform a series of hearing tests.
Audiogram: The results of your hearing test will be recorded on an audiogram. We will answer any questions you may have during this time.
Recommendations: If it is determined you are a candidate for hearing aids, we will go over some options that we believe would best help you.
Directions
The Audiology Center of Snellville is conveniently located a block away from the Grove. There is a RaceTrac directly across the street. We are a block away from the intersections of 124 and Highway 78.
